No Justice

You can murder someone with no repercussions as long as you agree to cooperate and tell the authorities how and why you did it. That's the news Jason Giambi received today although it was steroid use and not murder.

Bud Selig won't punish him because of his of his charitable work and cooperation with baseball's steroids investigator. Selig said, "I think it's more important for us to keep getting the message out."


What message is that? That its ok to cheat as long as you agree to cooperate with the investigation? This is going to come back and haunt baseball in the future. In fact, I think all American sports are going to have a falling out within the next 10 years or so.

Looks like baseball players have been taking this stuff for years. I wonder if steroids come in a bottle like this one?





So how come cycling gets such a bad name when someone gets caught doping? The big American sports may claim that hardly anyone tests 'non-negative', but the truth is they hardly test compared to cycling.

Cycling gets a bad rap because it cares. Its a sad state, but its true.
